She is considered one of the distinctive poetic voices that reflect the concerns and issues of her homeland and the diaspora, with her poems characterized by sincere emotion and philosophical depth.

Al Samuraei has participated in numerous literary and cultural events, reading her poems at several poetry evenings, and has received many awards, including the "Babylon Shield for Creativity." She has also written poems documenting events such as the October protests in Iraq, reflecting her deep connection to her country's issues. In 2019, she organized a poetry evening titled "Fragments from the Land of Palm Trees" in Paris, which received great admiration.
